From Rome to Columbus,
With Love

Bella Roma Italian Kitchen was born from a simple dream: bring the warmth and authenticity of a Roman trattoria to the heart of Columbus, Ohio.

Chef Marco Romano grew up cooking with his grandmother in Trastevere, learning recipes passed down through generations. After training under Michelin-starred chefs in Rome and Milan, he brought his passion to Columbus in 2009 — opening Bella Roma in the vibrant Short North Arts District.

Today, Bella Roma is a beloved neighborhood institution known for handmade pasta, wood-fired entrees, an exceptional wine list, and — above all — a warm welcome that makes every guest feel like family.
